The positives were the main proprietor who understood gluten free needs and was very welcoming. It is also an intimate, almost romantic atmosphere, which felt very Parisian. The food I had - prawn toast, beef chuck and cheese board were well presented but the portion size was too small for such a restaurant. The mashed potato was equivalent to a desert spoon scoop size and no exaggeration. The sauce with the prawn toast was also a little tepid. I thought it a nice meal and appreciated the hospitality but wouldn't return on tbe basis of high prices for too small portions.
Good, tasty French cuisine, not pretentious, nice relaxed atmosphere, not touristy. The food and wine were fantastic - simple sounding menu, but trust in it as it was cooked to perfection, and much fancier looking than expected. Great advice on wine pairing too.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’excellence de la cuisine. Au premier abord, nous n’aurions jamais opté pour ce restaurant. La salle est petite, le personnel adorable et une cuisine savoureuse.
